Who am I to offer this course?

Hi, My name is Tony Parish. I am not a psychiatrist, or psychologist, and I am not a doctor…

…for 25 years of my career I worked in Mental Health Rehabilitation in the NHS, Social Care Work with challenging behviour, and as a Teacher working with teenagers who do not fit the mainstream system.

During my time on the front line I developed a range of practical skills to work effectively in high stress situations. As well as using various prescribed methods and techniques for both myself, peers and the clients we served.

Since childhood I have consistently studied, practiced and later taught martial and healing systems… Kung Fu, Yoga, qigong, breathwork, bodywork, and a range of complimentary therapies.

I now work as a coach helping my clients to develop physical, mental and emotional skills – to remove any roadblocks they may have – and design strategies and systems to achieve life and business results.

With this free roadmap, you will see a clear and simple path outlining the skills and tools that will help you to take better charge of your anxieties. By building new skills, accessing new tools, you can design optimal responses for your specific challenges.

Here are some of the tools you will get when you sign up for the course:

  • The emergency 5-point ‘get your breath back’ plan for those moments when you feel a tightness in your chest.
  • A ’21 day breath builder’ to create a simple breathing habit that will transform your ability to express your ’emotional content’ and respond with more and more empowering decisions.
  • A list of popular phrases used by high stress ‘first responder’ type professionals that allow situational anxiety to melt away.
  • The ‘eyes up’ action that instantly takes you out of your self talk and gives your headspace a break.
  • A relaxation method that has been used by gurus for thousands of years that will give you a lifetime of chill.
  • A powerful, yet basic, thinking tool ‘the loop closer’ used by mentalists the world over to make you virtually immune to over thinking.
  • The 5 key emotional skills used by expert teachers to help learners effectively regulate their emotions.
  • What exactly you need to do to locate your true centre, and how to grow and expand into your deeper self.
  • A 4 step ‘disaster derailer’ Exercise Sheet to use when you are getting triggered and need to confront and manage your disaster thinking.
  • Examples of how to use the ‘So What?’ Cascade, that, in just two easily repeatable words, takes you to a quick exit from overthinking and disaster thinking.
  • How to create your ‘pattern interrupt’ to stop unhelpful thought habits and make room for more useful ones.
  • Reframing – how to take those swirling thoughts that don’t seem to listen to your calls to stop, and switch them off.
  • Grounding – How to realise your feet are actually still there, touching the ground, despite your head trying to spin… in circles… in mid air.
  • Heart regulator – you could call this one something nice like ‘love yourself more’ really though it’s just some ideas on how to give yourself a break.
  • Languaging Using common language and words to understand your experience by naming, and being specific about what your experience is like. This helps you to become more aware of what is happening for you. Which will allow you to start to take charge.
  • The secret behind the warriors way when managing high stress confrontational situations, that you can use to feel more at ease in social situations.

OK, here’s the deal, as you can see – I’ve put together a course for you. But, I’m guessing, if you’re still reading, then you want to know a bit more first.
